Getting punched is not something most people ask for–unless you’re getting ready to smoke Knockout Runtz from Smokey Okie’s. Knockout Runtz comes from Exotic Genetix in Washington state; Exotic Mike is known for creating super frosty and glamorous cannabis strains, and Knockout Runtz is no different. It is both a visual knockout, with its dark purple (almost black) appearance covered in glittering frosty trichomes, but is also a knockout when smoked.
Knockout Runtz Lineage
Knockout Runtz is the child of Kimbo Kush and Runtz. Runtz (or Runtz OG), as we know from our other Runtz varieties here, smells and tastes just like a bag of the sugary candy we all know and love, and is also where it gets its name. Adding Runtz to the mix will always bring you an uplifting sweet flavor and high. Kimbo Kush is a cross of Blackberry Kush and Starfighter, and is named after the late boxer Kimbo Slice. It’s got an earthy, fruity coffee flavor and is highly sedative if you smoke a decent amount.
Flavor Profile & Smoking Experience
We asked our Harvest Manager, Justin Robinson, to give us his perspective on what you can expect from Knockout Runtz. He says:
“This exotic strain has a taste and smell that delivers a cinnamon spice and grape and berry dominant experience, with an earthy, woodsy finish that translates into a full body relaxation experience. This is an excellent option for sleep aid, stress relief and deep relaxation.”
If you are looking for a strain that has an earthy, fruity flavor and a hard-hitting high, look no further than Knockout Runtz. It’s not only tasty, but potent as well. If you are considering growing Knockout Runtz at home, this one is not a high yielder like Red Pop Runtz, but it is still a high quality, top shelf cannabis.
